Meet Shaneka, MS – Advocate for Children and Families

Clinical Therapist

Shaneka is a compassionate Clinical Therapist at the Center of Hope for Behavioral Health, dedicated to helping children, families, and individuals achieve their mental health and personal growth goals. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a Minor in Psychology and a Master of Science in Psychology, and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Mental Health Counseling at Belmont University.

With 15 years of experience in child welfare, Shaneka has worked with diverse organizations to provide guidance, care, and support for children and families in need. She specializes in Narrative Therapy, empowering clients to become the authors of their own stories, as well as Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, helping clients navigate daily life challenges with confidence and resilience. Goal-oriented and compassionate, Shaneka is dedicated to helping every client take meaningful steps toward their treatment and personal growth goals.

Outside of her professional work, Shaneka enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling whenever possible. With her passion, deep experience, and academic expertise, she brings heart and hope to every client she serves, making a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of families and the community.
