Do I need counseling?

 Individuals pursue counseling for many reasons; to learn more about self, anxiety, depression, relationship-issues, grief and loss, trauma, or ways to become unstuck from a mundane life.

our website.

How do I know if counseling is working for me?

When you are ready to learn, change, or practice the technique for yourself, it will work. Each person connects differently with counselors who use various treatment styles. Treatment will work best for you, when you find the counselor that fits you best.

What type of insurance is accepted?

We currently accept Atena, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare (non Tenncare plans), Amerigroup, Blue Care, Cigna, Cover Kids, and Compsych

How long will I need to stay in counseling?

It depends. Individuals and their needs are unique.

What type of payment is accepted?

Cash, Credit and Debit Cards only. HSA/FSA are accepted. If you are not paying with cash, you are required to keep a debit or credit card number on file.

Do you prescribe medication?

No. However, we can refer you to a psychiatrist, or nurse practitioner who prescribes medication. We will collaborate with your provider using an integrated behavioral healthcare approach.

Do you offer financial assistance?

Yes, through our financial assistance program. Please check our website for more information.

Will my information be kept confidential?

State and federal confidentiality laws, the Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and our Ethics Agencies prevent us from sharing your information. However, there are exceptions; such as reports of abuse of a child or fragile adult, threats to self or others, and to provide for coordination of care in emergencies. In those specific cases, we share the minimum amount possible.

What types of therapeutic services are provided?

Therapists use various approaches; such as Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, Reality Therapy, Trauma Focused, EMDR and much more.

500 Hillside Court Directions

Directions: Enter “Reservoir Ave 37203” into GPS to be directed to the front of the building. The office is located in an all white, 3-story building with “500”  in black letters on the side. There is street parking along Hillside Avenue and limited spots on Reservoir Avenue. The entrance to the office is located on Reservoir Ave – down the stairs or there is a ramp available.
